More than 15 years have passed since then fascinated It attracted audiences and left them begging for more. It took yearsbut the fascinated sequel, Frustrating It finally hit Disney+. I loved the original movie and was eagerly awaiting this sequel.
I enjoyed the original because it was as much of an homage to the animated Disney films as it satirized them. Amy Adams gives an amazing performance as Giselle and Patrick Dempsey and has charming on-screen chemistry. You are the root of their happy ending. fascinated gave Frustrating Excellent scheme to follow.
Frustrating It premiered just in time for the holiday season. It’s a light family movie with lots of musical numbers and talking animals And the bad guys. While visiting Gisele and the gang, I had a lot of thoughts about this Disney+ original.
warning Frustrating And the Enchanted spoilers ahead. Proceed with caution.
Disillusioned makes me want more Disney movies with so many villains
“Badder” is my favorite song of the moment Frustrating. It reminded me of how much fun a movie can be when two bad guys go at it for the supremacy. More movies should show villains. Maya Rudolph and Amy Adams were at their most sinister (and entertaining) during this musical number.
Brief references to some other Famous Disney villains Make me want to see even More solo villain movies. We need more solo villain movies, as well as more movies where the bad guys fight each other or even team up to take down a hero. I know the Grandsons The franchise exists, but I’d like to see Ursula team up with the Evil Queen or Maleficent and Jafar working together.
It’s time to let the Disney villains take more focus.
Nancy and Edward need their own movie
After re-watching enchanted, Was reminded of how awesome James Marsden is in the original movie. He really is the perfect Prince Edward. An actor like James Marsden could just play a slightly goofy, goofy character and make it kind of charming and likable.
see it inside Frustrating Just reminded me again how fun this character is and how well Marsden plays him. Nancy is a major part of fascinated, but the film limits how they can be used. Her main goal is to be a barrier to Robert and Giselle’s happy ending.
Frustrating Idina Menzel and Nancy are allowed to shine. You get a few more musical numbers and also a little more personality. Watching Prince Edward and Nancy together makes me want to see more of them in the human world and Andalusia.
If Disney decides to expand or continue the universe of fascinated, a spin-off about Nancy and Prince Edward is the next logical step. It’s great to watch them on screen together.
Disappointment makes me miss when Morgan wasn’t a moody teenager
Listen, I understand being a teenager sucks. It sucks more for teenage girls, but moody teens in movies make me want to apologize for my past teenage sins. It’s not fun to watch. Unfortunately, sweet little baby Morgan (Rachel Covey) turns into moody teen Morgan (Gabriella Baldachino) in the… Frustrating. It gets annoying sometimes.
In Morgan’s defense, she’s not the worst teen character. Most of her disrespectful behavior (calling Giselle a stepmother, not her real mother!) comes from feeling left out by newborn Sophia. and the worry that Giselle doesn’t like her so much because she’s not her own born daughter.
Her insecurities give her a little excuse to be awful. However, she makes it difficult to root for Giselle to be a full-blown evil wife. Then Morgan gently steps into the hero role. You can forgive her moody teenage ways… almost.
Amy Adams is deliciously fun as the villain
Amy Adams gave a lot of great performances (some of them You may have forgotten), but Giselle is one of her most fun characters. It’s sugar-sweet enchanted, And the Frustrating He allows her to find her villain within. FrustratingThe strongest moment is when Giselle turns into the evil stepmother.
These moments are fun and give the movie the weight it needs to add tension. I enjoy both wicked and sweet Giselle. Amy Adams, who gives terrific performances in both films, proves that she is An overdue actor who won an Oscar. Maybe not for Frustratingbut for one of them Many great movies and performances.
I’m disappointed glad he has more animations
CharmThe incorporation of the animation element has always been something I really liked about the movie. Before Gisele heads off to New York City, the first ten minutes are pure animation. Frustrating Animation is used throughout the movie.
We first see it when Pip (Griffin Newman) reads Giselle’s story to his kids. Then the animation is used when Morgan goes to Andalusia. We also see glimpses of an animated Edward. It’s fun to see the movie use more animated elements in it Frustrating.
This almost makes the movie more of an animated and live-action hybrid.
It’s good to see Giselle, Robert, Morgan and Sophia find their happy ending in the suburbs
TV shows and New york city love moviesSuburbs often get a bad rap. They’re portrayed as boring and mundane, and the place where you lose your soul and soul – we’ve all seen those movies and shows. So I totally expected Frustrating They all end up moving back to New York City.
This is why I was pleasantly surprised when they decided to stay in Monroeville and make it work. It shows that suburban life doesn’t have to be this hell that movies and TV shows sometimes make it out to be. It can be an exciting new beginning.
Frustrating It contains some easter eggs and other things we need to discuss.
- I love that Rachel Covey, the original Morgan, has a brief cameo. I’m glad she’s still involved.
- Gabriella Baldacchino is a pretty good rendition, since Rachel Covey and her looks are kind of the same.
- The movie really has something against cats. I didn’t associate them with evil villains until this movie said it.
- Idina Menzel really can sing anything and make it sound amazing.
- Do you remember anyone else’s singing organs The Brave Little Toaster?
- Morgan and Tyson (Colton Stewart) are a cute couple, so it was nice to see a little bit of romance in the movie.
- I loved seeing famous Broadway stars, such as Anne Harada and James Monroe Eaglehart, made iconic appearances.
- Glad to see Alan Tudek voice another character that I loved.
- Pip definitely needs to join his adorable list Creatures that need more screen time.
Frustrating It is one of the days of Eid Upcoming movies which I was very much looking forward to watching. It doesn’t have the same spark as the original movie, but it’s an entertaining movie of its own.
