Disney learned at least two important lessons from the Pirates of the Caribbean films: A thorough screening of talent is important, and films based on Disney park rides can make millions. Now MovieWeb and others have reported that Ryan Reynolds is getting in on the action by working with him Raya and the last dragon Writer Qui Nguyen to develop a project based on the Association of Explorers and Adventurers.
MovieWeb notices that there is already a file Explorers and Adventurers Association A series is in development for Disney+, but the Ryan Reynolds movie appears to be separate from that. However, the site notes that it can turn out that the series and show are part of a common world; Not unlike Marvel shows or upcoming shows national treasure The series and movies it is based on.
The Ryan Reynolds movie is set to be the ultimate effort, and if it proves as successful as the Disney movies Pirates of the Caribbean or last year jungle trip, and then it would mark another major franchise that Reynolds would join. That’s, of course, in addition to his leading role in the Deadpool films, the Free Guy sequel, the Red Notice sequels, and any potential addition to The Hitman’s Bodyguard Saga (we haven’t heard of yet, for example, The killer’s wife’s bodyguard).
But then again, while movies based on Disney’s attractions are likely to be a hit, they’re far from automatic. A lot of cheese fell, although that doesn’t stop the House of Mouse from putting as much cheese as possible in that particular basket. Besides the Ryan Reynolds movie, there are currently features in various stages of development and/or production based on the Tower of Terror and the Haunted Mansion.
Even if you don’t know who the Society of Explorers and Adventurers (SEA) is, you’re probably familiar with at least one or two of its members. Founded in 2001 Disney’s Sea Exploration Castle in Tokyo, SEA soon spread to all Disney parks, often with Easter eggs at various attractions. The SEA is made up of an eclectic group of fantasy adventurers, although we don’t yet know who Ryan Reynolds hopes to play; If he chooses an established character or wants to create an entirely new one.
SEA member and hawk Carmelia Falco, for example, is the host character for Soaring: Fantastic Flight Attraction at Tokyo DisneySea. Dr. Albert Falls appears in the Sea Forest Journey and Maestro Delphman appears in Mystic Manor. Even Jock Lindsay – the pilot, played by Fred Sorenson, who helps Indiana Jones escape certain death in the opening scene of Raiders of the Lost Astronomy– He is said to be a member of the SEA.
Of course, the biggest news that has been attached to Ryan Reynolds recently is about another Disney project, but of a different kind. Actor Wade Wilson revealed in a surprising social media post that Hugh Jackman has officially signed on to reprise the role of Wolverine in the future. Deadpool 3. Later we found out that the movie was delayed two months to November 2024.
